Replacement
Full Roof Replacement
A full roof replacement is the removal of every existing shingle down to the wood deck, followed by new underlayment and new shingles — not a second layer laid over the old one.
Tear-off, deck repair, ice-and-water shield, new shingles. We install BP and
GAF lines rated for Ontario winters, and as a BP Certified Roofer the
installation itself carries the manufacturer's backing. You get a written
quote before we start and a clean yard after.
A roof repair fixes one specific failure — a leak, a lifted flashing, a patch of blown-off shingles — and leaves the rest of the roof in place.
Missing shingles, leaks around chimneys and vents, flashing that lifted in
the wind. Justin tracks the leak to its entry point, quotes the fix in
writing, and books most repairs within the week, including mid-winter.
Eavestroughs are the channels along the roof edge that carry rainwater to the downspouts. Gutter guards are covers that keep leaves out of them.
New eavestroughs, repairs, and guards that keep the leaves out so you stay
off the ladder. We handle fascia and soffit too, so the whole roof edge
sheds water instead of soaking the wood behind it.
The guy on your roof owns the company.Owner-run roofing out of Waterdown since 2008.
Justin Beaudry started the company in 2008 and still climbs the ladder on
every job. The person who quotes your roof is the person who installs it,
with a crew that works for Beaudry rather than a subcontractor. Most new
work comes from referrals off earlier roofs.
The price you're quoted is the price
Customers keep writing the same line in reviews: "the final price was as quoted." The quote is written, and it holds.
Repairs all winter
Justin has patched roofs in January with snow and ice still on them. When water is getting in, the owner picks up the phone and comes to look.
"Absolutely best home repair contractor we have ever hired. We received a quote and 2 days after given the go ahead they squeezed us into there schedule. Very professional install. The team of men are a well organized team."

"The Beaudry team was efficient, clean and respectful. Our roof was BAD and we had know idea just how bad it was until they dug in (or rather, fell in...). We are relieved to have a solid roof over our heads again and proud to support local."

"I am very impressed with the results of my roof. Justin and his team worked hard to get my roof installed. It rained so it delayed the finish, however they came on Saturday to complete it in 3 day. I am a very happy customer."

"We moved two weeks ago and needed a minor repair on our current home's roof. Beaudry fixed it within the same week of my text. You don't find companies built like this."
"Roof developed a minor leak and Justin arrived in the dead of winter, January, with much snow and ice prevailing, to effect the roof repairs. Thank you!"
No. Call or text (905) 599-4441, Justin comes out, looks at the roof, and you get a written quote. Knowing what your roof needs costs you nothing.
Do you take small repair jobs?
Yes. A good share of our calls are single leaks, a few missing shingles, or flashing that lifted in the wind. One customer's living-room leak took 15 minutes to seal. Small jobs get the same booking as full roofs.
Are you insured?
Fully insured and WSIB covered, and the crew works for Beaudry, not a subcontractor. We can send documentation with your quote if you want it on file.
What materials do you install?
BP and GAF shingle lines rated for Ontario winters, and Velux skylights. Beaudry Roofing is a BP Certified Roofer under the Weather-Tite program, which backs the installation as well as the shingle.
Do you repair roofs in winter?
Yes. Justin has repaired roofs in January with snow and ice still on them. If water is coming in, call and we'll figure out what can be done now versus what should wait for warmer weather.
What area do you cover?
Waterdown is home base. We work across Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Milton, Dundas, Ancaster, Stoney Creek and the rest of Halton Region.
How do I know if I need a repair or a full replacement?
Age and spread. Under about 15 years with one leak in one spot is usually a repair. Past 18 or 20 years, with granules in the eavestrough, curling shingles, or leaks in more than one place, you're replacing. Justin tells you which after he's been up there.
How long does a shingle roof last in Ontario?
Most architectural asphalt shingles run 25 to 30 years here. Freeze-thaw cycles and ice damming are what shorten that, along with poor attic ventilation, which cooks the shingles from underneath. A well-vented roof lands closer to the top of the range.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most houses are a single day: tear-off in the morning, new roof on by evening. Bigger or steeper roofs, or ones where the deck turns out to be rotted underneath, run into a second day. Justin tells you which yours is when he quotes it.
What warranty comes with the roof?
Two things cover the roof: the manufacturer's warranty on the shingles from BP or GAF, and the Weather-Tite system coverage, which backs the installation as well as the material. The term depends on the shingle line you pick, and it goes in writing with your quote.
Do I need to be home while you work?
No. Most people are at work while their roof goes on. What we need is driveway access for the trailer and a working outdoor outlet. If something needs a decision partway through, Justin calls you instead of guessing.
Do you handle the permit?
Most straight re-roofs in Ontario don't need a building permit, because nothing structural is changing. If your job does need one, say a deck rebuild or a structural change, Justin tells you at the quote rather than after the crew shows up.
Water coming in right now?
Call. If shingles blew off or a leak just opened up, a tarp or a quick seal can protect the house until the full repair.
